1. About AltoKaffee
AltoKaffee is a coffee subscription service operated in Switzerland, providing premium Colombian coffee beans sourced directly from four different farms. Our service delivers 1kg of freshly roasted coffee beans monthly to customers across Switzerland for CHF 49 per month, including free shipping.
2. Service Description
Our service includes:
- Monthly delivery of 1kg premium Colombian coffee beans
- Beans sourced from 4 different Colombian farms
- Free shipping across Switzerland
- Freshly roasted beans (roasted within 7 days of delivery)
- Subscription management through our online platform
3. Pricing and Billing
Subscription Price: CHF 49.00 per month, including VAT and free shipping within Switzerland.
Billing: Payments are processed monthly in advance through Stripe. Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless cancelled. We accept major credit cards and debit cards.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify our pricing with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers.
4. Delivery Terms
Delivery Area: We deliver exclusively within Switzerland.
Delivery Schedule: Coffee is delivered monthly, typically between the 1st and 15th of each month. We will provide tracking information via email.
Delivery Issues: If you do not receive your delivery, please contact us within 7 days. We will investigate and arrange redelivery or refund as appropriate.
5. Cancellation Policy
Customer Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting customer service. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
No Refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial months. Your subscription remains active until the end of the paid period.
Pausing Subscription: You may pause your subscription for up to 3 months through your account dashboard.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate delivery information
- Ensure someone is available to receive deliveries or provide safe delivery instructions
- Update payment information to avoid service interruption
- Notify us of address changes at least 5 days before your next delivery
7. Product Quality and Returns
We guarantee the quality of our coffee beans. If you are not satisfied with your order due to quality issues:
- Contact us within 14 days of delivery
- Provide details about the quality issue
- We will offer a replacement or refund at our discretion
8. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the coffee subscription. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by Swiss law.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with Swiss and EU data protection laws.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of our service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
